– Lemons – Vodka – Sugar – Water
In saucepan combine sugar and water, heat up until all sugar has dissolved. Once dissolved set aside to cool completely.
Wash and lightly peel the lemons, so you are not getting a lot of the white parts, more just the yellow peel. Put peels in a large juice container. Pour the whole bottle of Vodka over the lemon peels, seal with lid or plastic wrap. Lemon/Vodka mixture should stay at room temperature for 4 days.
Once the sugar mixture has cooled, pour it into the Lemon mixture. Strain the mixture of peels, place in the refrigerator until cold. Pour Limoncello into small glass, garnish with curled lemon peel.
