Champagne Margaritas

Champagne margaritas are sweet and spicy with the combination of a bottle of bubbly, sugared strawberries, Cointreau, lime juice, and jalapenos.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen sliced strawberries in syrup or sugared
  • ¾ cup tequila
  • ¼ Cointreau
  • 2 limes
  • 1 bottle extra dry prosecco
  • 1 jalapeño sliced

Instructions

  • Partially thaw out a frozen container of strawberries. Pour in the bottom of a two-quart pitcher. If you are using sliced frozen strawberries, coat in two tablespoons of sugar.
  • Pour tequila, cointreau, and lime's juiced or sliced over strawberries and let set until ready to serve.
  • Pour Prosecco into tequila, cointreau, and strawberry mixture before serving.
  • Add slices of lime and jalapeño to a pitcher or each margarita individually as a garnish.
