Champagne margaritas are sweet and spicy with the combination of a bottle of bubbly, sugared strawberries, Cointreau, lime juice, and jalapenos.
Servings: 6 servings
- 2 cups frozen sliced strawberries in syrup or sugared
- ¾ cup tequila
- ¼ Cointreau
- 2 limes
- 1 bottle extra dry prosecco
- 1 jalapeño sliced
Partially thaw out a frozen container of strawberries. Pour in the bottom of a two-quart pitcher. If you are using sliced frozen strawberries, coat in two tablespoons of sugar.
Pour tequila, cointreau, and lime's juiced or sliced over strawberries and let set until ready to serve.
Pour Prosecco into tequila, cointreau, and strawberry mixture before serving.
Add slices of lime and jalapeño to a pitcher or each margarita individually as a garnish.
