Ingredients

  • 8 medium beef short ribs
  • 2 tablespoons steak seasoning

  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons roasted beef Better than Bouillon
  • 1 bottle dry red wine

Instructions

  • Start by cutting the ribs apart into individual rib pieces. Season with steak seasoning.
  • Set the Instant Pot on saute. Start on high heat but move to low. When switched to low, add two tablespoons of butter. Then begin browning all sides of each beef rib. You should be able to fit four at a time.
  • When the beef ribs are all browned, begin deglazing the instant pot by pouring a cup of wine into the bottom of the Instant Pot. Switch the Instant Pot to Meat and high. You may need to hit cancel and restart the Instant Pot to do this.
  • Add the sliced garlic cloves to the wine. Then add the short ribs to the Instant Pot standing them upright to fit them all in. Pour the remaining wine over the top of the short ribs. Put pieces of the remaining to tablespoons of butter over the top of the short ribs.
  • Lock the Instant Pot lid on. Set the time for 90 minutes high pressure.
  • Natural release for 15 minutes. If the pressure is not gone, quick release.
  • Serve over mashed cauliflower or potatoes.
