Apple Sangria

I love a good crisp sangria. This apple sangria combines the crispness of an unoaked Chardonnay with the flavors of fall.

Ingredients

  • one 750-milliliter bottle unoaked chardonnay
  • ½ cup vodka
  • 3 tablespoons honey Optional
  • 1 orange sliced
  • 1 lemon sliced
  • 1 lime sliced
  • 2 honey crisp apples peeled and sliced
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 cup club soda
  • 1 bottle hard cider

Instructions

  • In a large bowl or pitcher, combine wine, vodka, honey, orange, lemon, lime, apple, and cinnamon sticks. Stir to combine and refrigerate for at least four hours.
  • Add 1 cup of club soda and the hard cider to the wine and fruit. Pour wine into glasses. Garnish glass rims with cinnamon and sugar if you want to fancy it up a little.
